Bronze totem box on Leather Cord with Kingman Turquoise arco and an Abalone Bead to adjust the length.  2” x 2” on 36” adjustable cord.

Absolutely my favorite design so far.  So much love and attention goes into each one.  This piece was patinated over 3 days to create the beautiful Bronze color.  It will last forever.  The carvings were made by my husband, John Hull and are so warm and graceful.

The Kingman turquoise mine, in Arizona, is the last remaining commercially producing mine in the United States. Evidence suggests turquoise was mined in the surrounding areas dating as far back as 600 AD.

The mine where a piece of Turquoise was found—not its color, nor its matrix, which refers to the veins and patterns of the stone—is the primary factor in determining its value. Historically speaking, the finest turquoise came from the mountains of Asia. In the 20th century, however, the copper-rich American Southwest supplanted them as the primary source of rare, and valuable, specimens, including collector favorites such as Bisbee, Lander Blue, and Number 8 (Black Web). Tibetan Turquoise is highly prized.  Hubei also has some of the most beautiful natural Turquoise

     Abalone

Since abalone gradually develops in the ocean, it's associated with the emotional tides we face.

Despite being turned and tossed around by ocean tides, the stone still comes out beautiful. Thinking of this phenomenon during challenging times in your life can be motivational. It shows that you too can go through tough times and emerge stronger and more beautiful than ever.

Beyond this motivational factor, abalone's vibrations have a soothing effect that can help you calm down when you're stressed out. It enhances the Four C's, which increases the ability to control your emotions under pressure.
